Meet the Donoghue Family | Nepean Photographer
On a brisk winter morning, we set out to the trails of Ottawa for our shoot. Leaving the community of Barrhaven with beautiful blue skies, we found ourselves in the middle of a snow squall for the session. The wonderful thing about the nature trails is that they keep some of the wind at bay, and allow for gorgeous snowfall to be captured in the images. These two were troopers and we got a few images without all of the winter gear–an often rare occurrence in Canada.
I am also very proud to say that they were featured in the March 2019 edition of the local Neighbours of Stonebridge magazine (quaint little neighbourhood between Manotick and Barrhaven, in Ottawa). To read the full article, you do need to get your hands on a hard-copy of the magazine, but it’s well worth it to be able to manually flip through the pages–yes I know I sound like an old lady, but old fashion ain’t a bad thing!
