Meet the Bury Family | Riverside South Photographer

It was a pleasure to meet these two love birds and their daughter, because they were on board for whatever I had in store for them on that fine rainy morning. Yes, when the deadline is set in stone, I can make it work rain or shine (downpour is a different story), we just wait for a break in the clouds and keep umbrellas nearby.

Our Canadian spring does tend to take a while to show up, and I actually love the greysih brown wintery tones because it means my subjects pop a little more, but it is quite the treat when the greenery starts to appear. Almost a hopeful feeling. Especially when I get to be creative with my composition and really bring out those warm tones. But enough of my technical blabber; this one is all about the family!

I am also very proud to say that they were featured in the June 2019 edition of the local Neighbours of Stonebridge magazine (quaint little neighbourhood between Manotick and Barrhaven, in Ottawa). To read the full article, you do need to get your hands on a hard-copy of the magazine, but it’s well worth it to be able to manually flip through the pages–yes I know I sound like an old lady, but old fashion ain’t a bad thing! Without further ado…
