This was the last session of the year with the blossoms on the trees, and while I am a little sad that we have to wait almost an entire year for them to come back, the summer has a ton of unique backdrop marvels to choose from. For two people who has never participated in a portrait sessions before, they were naturals at following direction and hamming it up for the camera. A few belly laughs and vogue poses later, we were left with a beautiful gallery.
I am also very proud to say that they were featured in the July 2019 edition of the local Neighbours of Stonebridge magazine (quaint little neighbourhood between Manotick and Barrhaven, in Ottawa). To read the full article, you do need to get your hands on a hard-copy of the magazine, but it’s well worth it to be able to manually flip through the pages–yes I know I sound like an old lady, but old fashion ain’t a bad thing! I particularly love that we were able to coordinate the wardrobe with a Canada Day theme without going overboard on the red and white. Subtle is key. Without further ado…
