Teddy Bear Picnic Day Fundraiser for CHEO
I am thrilled to invite you to the inaugural Teddy Bear Picnic ‘Portraits in the Park’ fundraiser, an exciting event will take place on July 9th, 2023 at the picturesque Gemmill Park in Almonte, Ontario. The Teddy Bear Picnic aims to bring families together for a delightful day out while supporting the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).

Join us for a heartwarming day of joy, support, and community to celebrate Teddy Bear Picnic Day, in support of CHEO. Let’s come together to celebrate childhood and make a real difference in the lives of children facing health challenges, while creating lasting memories for our own little ones.
Sunday morning, families are invited to bring their little ones and their beloved teddy bears or other stuffed animals for a styled picnic in the park. Children will have the opportunity to be photographed alongside their cuddly companions, capturing the precious bond between them. The certain-to-be-adorable portraits will be available for purchase, with proceeds further contributing to the fundraising efforts. The CHEO Bear mascot (Jasper) will be visiting the event at 10AM and is happy to hop into the photo with your little one.
Child Portraits with their Stuffies
All proceeds from the registration fee, set at $50 per child, will be donated directly to CHEO. This will help support their invaluable work in providing specialized healthcare for children in need. Additionally, sponsors are generously working together to support the event, ensuring that every dollar raised will make a meaningful impact.

WHAT IS INCLUDED: The $50 registration fee includes a portrait captured with their favourite stuffy/toy in a commemorative keychain (great for backpacks!), & the opportunity to purchase art prints, wall portraits, album, etc.

There will be THREE setups for you to choose from: a styled mini picnic for kiddo and their stuffy, a lovely balloon garland (biodegradable latex) arch, and the minimalist option of just kiddo and their lovey like the ones below. Sometimes simple truly is the best option, especially for timeless portraits that you will love seeing on your walls everyday.
You can also choose to upgrade to the $349 portrait experience (per child), where $200 will be donated directly to CHEO, and in addition to the mini portrait session and keychain/zipper-pull, it includes an art print and the matching digital file for online sharing. You will also receive a complimentary family portrait session to use at a later date.
