Newborn Baby Aleena – 3 weeks new

Baby Aleena came to visit the portrait studio for her newborn photography session at 3 weeks new, exactly at 21 days.

This little sweetheart was my first newborn in the studio since the pandemic began, and to say I was nervous would be an understatement (it had been almost 6 months since I had been ‘out of practice’ other than my product photo clients). She was an absolute DREAM baby to start things off on the right foot, her brother was such a cooperative tiny human, and all my fears were squashed instantly. The session went so well that it was one of my biggest galleries in years, and it was done in half of the time. Talk about a confidence booster and reminder that I love what I do, but also because I am good at it. I am so excited to see their artwork on display!

Without further ado…

World, meet Aleena.

Here are a few favourites from the session.

I cannot wait to see how they choose to display their new artwork, especially the life-size portrait of little Aleena and her brother!

How do I book a photo session?

I’d love to capture your growing family and new baby moments. Use the contact page to send a message to set up a phone consultation so we can discuss details and customize your experience. Newborn Photo Sessions are best held within the first 2 weeks from birth, and Parent&Baby sessions are typically within the first month after baby is born. Let’s create art together.
